Sad thing is, they used to do some really great things! Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower to name a few.

  • kaysandesses:

Of course we all know that those four would eschew the contemporary Republican Party. It was Eisenhower who warned against the military industrial complex that the GOP is married to.

  • classicallady:

Well they ARE the party of no, right?LOL

  • kaysandesses:

What is really bad is TPaw is a worthless Gov.

  • ZegatonZ:

yes, when republicans were progressive (liberals)

all that changed (most of it) after Truman asked the democrats to support civil rights, but instead of doing do, they moved to the republican side, and the liberal republicans moved to the democrat side

Tiger brought that into his “apology” because Florida has the strictest laws in the nation regarding spousal/domestic abuse. He or she could get arrested & tried if Elin hit him or he hit her even if nether were to press charges. There are plenty of wife beaters in Florida & that is why they have such intense & powerful domestic violence legislation which is enforced. A typical rookie addict mistake trying to make amends way too early in his recovery. He begged the paparazzi to stay away? WTF?

  • britethorn:

    Love it!

  • britethorn:

    Thanks. I live to serve. . .

  • britethorn:

    Thanks Jason!

  • britethorn:

    History’s a funny thing!

  • britethorn:

Very good point. Not living in Florida, I didn’t know any of that.

Covered extensively on WNYC (NPR) last night. don’t know the show’s name but it is for & about back people. They had a panel of 3 men & a female moderator. Only the female was affected by Tiger’s speech. The rest thought it was contrived & insincere. He blew it. Don’t mention spousal abuse, no asking paparazzi to leave his family alone, no handpicking the crowd. Many golf journalists boycotted because he was not taking questions. One just doesn’t do that. Tiger’s problems are far from over.

Personally Tiger doesn’t owes the press shit. Fuck them. I getting sick & tired of the media. If they do the same thing to the politicians, then Bush & Cheney plus friends wouldn’t had gotten away with all the shit they had done through out of the past eight years. personally the media own us an apology for the tabloid trash they shove down our throats.

  • ElectrickDragon:

pfft! i’m dissappointed in your logic…
there’s always some truth behind these rumours, and if yo ubeleive not, i got one for you… did you know the word gullible isn’t in the dictionary?

  • eqsmooth:

I do agree but Tiger fucked up. He is not a politician and he admitted full well and often that he is a role model for kids. Through his foundation and his endorsements. Poor;y played. That drive ended up in a bunker. I fuckin’ hate golf anyway.

  • jbizzle231:

I feel dumber from watching this

  • imaginepeace63:
